Puppy Love

Damien and his friends planning world domination
Damien and Midian being lazy
Nothing all too interesting going on lately. Just getting over colds and hanging around enjoying each other. I figured I would post some cute pictures of the baby and his furry "siblings".
During my pregnancy I was really scared that I spoiled the dogs too much and gave them too much attention. I feared that when the baby came they would be jealous and resentful of him. The second that I brought the baby home I realized how wrong I was. From day one these dogs loved this baby as if he were one of them. They are always showering him with big sloppy dog kisses and hugs. When he hurts himself or cries they are the first ones on the scene. They let him climb all over them and lay on them (something that they don't even let me do). Damien loves them just as much as they love him.

May Cause Drowsiness or Dizziness

The past few nights I have had some trouble getting to sleep early. I am up until like 2 or 3 and have to get up around 6 with the baby. Everyone knows how well I function when I haven't slept. So I decided to take an Ambien last night. I know that this is a sleeping pill and all but I wasn't prepared for how strong this little pill really is. Now I know why they give it to the guys when they are flying to and from deployments. This shit puts you in a coma and quick. I think that they give them 2 or 3 pills to last them the whole flight and I believe that it does its job.

I took this pill around 9:30 with the hope at about 11 going to bed. Well the last thing that I remember was waking up at 5 still sitting up with my laptop still in my lap and my hands still on the keyboard like I was typing something. The only thing that changed was that some how the power cord got knocked out and the battery on the laptop gave out.

This shit put me in a coma, someone could have fired off flares right next to me and I wouldn't have known what was going on. I think that they should change the warning label from "MAY cause drowsiness or dizziness" to "Don't make any fucking plans" or better yet..."expect to wake up and not know where you are"... after all it is a sleeping pill what good would it be if it MAY cause drowsiness....

The Messengers

I haven't posted in awhile and this one is going to be an angry one!

OK so Mike and I got out to go to the movies last night. The movie (The Messengers) was awful, so those who considered seeing it, save yourself the money. Like I told Jo the best part of the movie was the popcorn and assorted candy goodness.
Now... on to my rant....
I don't know what rock these people crawl out from on a Friday night to take their 8 month old and their 2 year old to this movie... or any movie for that matter, most infants/toddlers do not have the attention span to sit through a movie in the theater. My point is how about hiring a babysitter like the rest of us normal people... Your kids shouldn't be running through the theater like maniacs, also hearing your child screaming throughout the whole movie kind of ruins it for everyone else who paid to get in.
Oh there is more....
I don't know who taught people proper theater etiquette but speaking in the loudest possible manner there is during the movie pisses people off... try using your indoor voice if you must speak...
OK... I'm done... we are going out to dinner tonight. Let's see if people piss me off there....
